Bank Millennium is a commercial financial institution headquartered in the heart of Poland. This bank is popular not only among Poles, but also among foreigners living in the country and abroad. The bank was founded back in 1989 and was originally called the Bank for Economic Initiatives. After merging with Bank SA Gdanski in 1997, the financial and credit institution was named “Gdanski”, but a year later it was renamed. The new name, Bank Millennium, remains to this day.

IF YOU WANT TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH BANK MILLENNIUM
Bank Millennium is customer focused. Therefore, it is easy to open an account with it. For non-residents, it is enough to have just a passport. The bank representative will require additional data which is dictated by security considerations:
- full name of parents;
- mother’s maiden name (a standard question in the security screening)
- address in the country of registration where you live;
- if you are currently working in Poland, the employee will ask you to name your place of work;
- Polish phone number. Without it, you will not be able to activate a bank account;
- address of residence in Poland. A bank card will be sent to this address.
Issuing a plastic card takes up to a week. When the card is ready it will be mailed to the address provided. If you want to you may pick up the card in person.
In case of Internet banking, services can be used 24/7. Please note that a bank employee will offer to help you learn the Internet banking system if you decide to pick up the card in person. However, you can always opt out of this.
